I'm father to Valerie, Dana and Ben, husband to Sally, and servant to Buddy the Wonder Dog. In some of my lives before SpongeFish, I led e-learning for the 64 campuses of the State University of New York, wrote a lot, toured the world giving talks about all things "cyber," played tennis and squash, and developed an enduring love for old movies.

Hey--Thanks for favoriting me...sorry I didn't get back sooner, I'm really busy.
I notice you're with the SUNY system--I spent a sabbatical leave at the SUNY unit in Fredonia--lovely campus, wonderful faculty--I had a great year. Other than the divorce, I mean...but that was hardly SUNY's fault!

I WAS with the SUNY system, left it to spongefish (it's now a verb). And SUNY has been responsible for many divorces, so go ahead, blame it. Fredonia is a real gem, one of my favorite SUNY campuses, although one had to wait for the pass to melt and hitch the dogs to get to it. I lived in Buffalo for 4 years and never realized you could still go an hour and a half west on the NYS Thruway and not be in Ohio. Reply...
